# Capital City Recycling in BC and CRD

> Capital City Recycling (CCR) is a privately-owned, locally owned & operated waste, recycling & organic management provider serving Greater Victoria & the CRD (including the Saanich Peninsula and western communities), offering residential pickup (weekly/biweekly/monthly), commercial waste/organics/recycling, mini roll-off bins, and on-call confidential document destruction; contact: (250) 652-5008, info@ccrvictoria.com, Suite E 7105 W Saanich Rd, Brentwood Bay, BC V8M 1P7; office hours Mon–Fri 8AM–4PM (closed statutory holidays; drivers pick up on most statutory holidays except Christmas Day and New Year's Day).

Service area includes Victoria BC, Colwood, Langford, Central Saanich, North Saanich, Brentwood Bay, Saanich Peninsula, and the entire CRD.

Organics: as of January 1, 2015, organics are banned from garbage; 12-gallon kitchen scraps container available (purchase your own or delivered for $45 + tax with signup); refer to the CRD's Composting site for acceptable materials.

Residential: new customers receive first month free upon signing up; pickup frequency can be changed/upgraded/interrupted at any time with no penalty.

Commercial: services for office, strata, apartment complex; includes lawn and garden material pickup and organics composting.

Confidential document destruction: on-call service; CCR drops off a confidential box, then picks it up when ready.

Holiday operations: office closure notices are posted (e.g., Christmas Day/New Year's Day: no pickup; other statutory days may have office closed while drivers pick up as usual).
